Presentation Guidelines

All oral and poster presentations will be pre-recorded and available to view in the CRYO2020 Virtual Event app in advance of the meeting. We recommend you plan to have your presentation completed no later than Monday July 6, to allow time to upload the file, and to give delegates the chance to view your presentation in advance of the live discussion and Q&A.

You are encouraged to submit your presentation earlier than Monday July 6. 

Plenary Presentation – Presentation length to be 45-60 minutes.
Invited Speaker Presentation – Presentation length to be 20-30 minutes. 
Submitted Abstract Presentations – Presentation length should not exceed 15 minutes.

  • For Powerpoint slides use Widescreen Aspect Ratio 16:9
  • Video Formats accepted are:

  • .WMV
  • There is no maximum file size

Get Creative! 
If you want to flex your creativity muscles and record something out of the box we’d love to see it! Stuck in lockdown or quarantine and have too much time on your hands? Make your monitor or TV your whiteboard and stand next to it and orate to your heart’s content. Have access to your lab and want to record in there? Go ahead! We’d love to see what you come up with. There may even be a prize or two.  

Please design your poster as one slide in Powerpoint, using widescreen aspect ratio 16:9 in landscape. This will display better as a short video presentation than traditional portrait orientation.

You will need to record an accompanying audio narration for your poster which must not exceed 5 minutes.
